John Cena hizo historia el domingo pasado al vencer a Cody Rhodes en el evento estelar de Wrestlemania 41 y ganar su título mundial 17 en WWE, aunque a muchos no les gustó el final de la lucha, sobre todo por la ausencia de The Rock, quien fue el genio detrás de la contienda entre Cena y Cody.
The Final Boss estuvo presente en el Pat McAfee Show y dio a conocer el motivo de su ausencia del magno evento, el cual se llevó a cabo en el Allegiant Stadium de Las Vegas.
¿Por qué no estuvo en Wrestlemania 41?
El miembro de la junta directiva de TKO Group señaló que el plan para la lucha entre John Cena y Cody Rhodes nunca lo incluía a él, ya que los reflectores debían estar en Cena rompiendo el récord de más títulos mundiales ganados en WWE.
The Rock aseguró que él mismo le avisó a los dos involucrados que él no formaría parte del main event, que ellos serían los encargados de construir la rivalidad.

Sobre el cambio a heel de Cena, The Final Boss reveló que fue Triple H quien propuso la idea y al actual campeón indiscutido de WWE le encantó el plan.

¿Le gustó Wrestlemania 41?
The Rock aseguró que quedó encantado con el desarrollo del magno evento, aunque reveló que él habría cambiado algunas cosas, pero en términos generales le gustó.
Sobre el main event de la noche 1, The Final Boss aplaudió el trabajo de Seth Rollins y Paul Heyman, este último traicionando a Roman Reigns y a CM Punk.
